It was also a triumph for New Mills AODS production of Oliver! which picked up two awards. Oliver! played to packed houses over five days in November last year.
New Mills AODS awards went to:
• Beverley Eaves and Stewart Bowden who won the Best Programme Class for their programme for ‘Oliver!’
• Seb Green who won Best Comedy Performance in a Pantomime for his performance as Buttons in Cinderella
• Stewart Bowden who won Best Leading Male in a Musical for his performance as Fagin in Oliver!
Beverley Eaves, Theatre Director at New Mills Art Theatre, said: “We were out in force at the annual NODA Awards and what a wonderful evening it was. Many congratulations to everyone nominated from New Mills AODS, and it was brilliant to receive three awards. We hope to continue the success at the Regional awards in May.
