New Mills Art Theatre provides a welcoming and creative environment where young people can take part in performances, workshops and rehearsals. We encourage everyone to have fun, build confidence and develop new skills in a safe and supportive setting.
The safety and wellbeing of all children and young people is our priority. We have clear safeguarding policies in place which are reviewed annually.
The New Mills Art Theatre staff members with responsibility for each section:
Each Officer is responsible for ensuring safeguarding standards are maintained within their area. In consultation with the Safeguarding Lead, the Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) respond to concerns raised by staff, parents, participants, members of the public and external agencies. They will manage any allegations or incidents and liaise with relevant partners and agencies where appropriate.
